Single Channel Pulping Machine
Introduction
The single channel pulping machine is a food grade pulper that turns fruit and vegetables into smooth pulp while separating the seeds, skins, and pits in a single pass. One drum and one screen keep the build simple and the price low, which makes it a good fit for a single fruit type at modest volume. It is built from 304 stainless steel and sized from about 0.2 to 0.6 tonnes per hour, which covers a small jam kitchen up to a mid size juice line.
How it works
Crushed or cooked fruit feed enters the drum, where a spinning scraper presses it against a perforated screen. Soft pulp and juice pass through the holes into the collection chamber, while skins, seeds, and pits stay on the screen and discharge from the slag outlet. With one channel you run one screen at a time, so you pick the aperture for the texture you want. Because there is only one drum, the machine is easy to open, wash, and change the screen between batches.

What it processes
Stone fruit such as mango, peach, apricot, plum, and cherry pulp and de-stone cleanly. Berries including strawberry, kiwi, and grape, and kernel fruit like apple and pear, also run well. Tomatoes are the classic use for sauce and ketchup base, and cooked carrot, celery, chili, and tomato make vegetable puree and soup base. If it presses soft and has a skin or seed to remove, the machine handles it.
Structure of pulping machine
A pulping machine is used for pulping, peeling, and removing seeds from fruits, tomatoes, and other raw materials, separating the pulp, juice, and other parts to facilitate the reduction of juice and the completion of other subsequent processes.
The main component of the beating machine is a cylindrical screen 5 with two open ends, horizontally installed inside the casing. The cylinder body is bent into a circle using thin stainless steel plates and welded together. Strengthening rings are welded on both ends of the cylinder body to increase strength.
There are also two steel plates stamped into two semicircles and connected into a cylinder body with screws. The shaft 4 passes through the cylindrical screen and is installed on two bearings 2. Its right end is equipped with a screw propeller 10 that moves the material towards the crushing blade 7. In the entire cylindrical screen, two scraper plates 3 are installed on the shaft 4 for scraping the material. Scraper 3 is actually two rectangular stainless steel plates, and there is an angle between the scraper and the axis, which is called the lead angle. The scraper is installed on shaft 4 through clamps and bolts, and the distance between the scraper and the inner wall of the cylindrical screen can be adjusted by bolts. In order to protect the cylindrical screen from being broken by the scraper, sometimes corrosion-resistant rubber plates are also installed on the scraper.
Single vs double channel
A single channel unit runs one drum and suits one fruit at modest volume, where one texture covers your whole run. A double channel pulping machine runs two drums, either as a coarse then fine pass or as two parallel lanes, giving higher throughput and letting you keep running while you change a screen on the other side. If you process one product at a steady rate, the single channel model does the job for less money. If volume grows or you run several fruits, move up to the double channel for the extra capacity.
How to choose your model
Start from your target tonnes per hour, then pick the screen aperture for the texture you want and the motor power for your mix thickness. Check the inlet height and footprint against your line, and confirm the contact parts are 304 with certs. If your fruit changes through the season, choose quick change screens. Root vegetables like carrot and potato are often peeled first in a bristle roller peeling and washing machine before they reach the pulper.

A pulper is one machine in a wider fruit and vegetable processing line. Fruit is washed in a bubble washer, crushed in a large crusher so the pulp releases, then pulped, then held in a stainless steel mixing tank before filling or cooking. The pulper sits in the middle, and its screen size sets the final texture.

The steel for the body comes from the same group mill that supplies 304 stainless steel coil, so you can trace the grade back to the mill.
