Double channel pulping machine
Introduction
The double channel pulping machine is a food grade pulper built to turn fruit and vegetables into smooth pulp while pulling out the seeds, skins, and pits in a single pass. The “double channel” part means it runs two drums side by side. That lets you run a coarse screen and a fine screen one after the other, or process two fruits at the same time, so you get more throughput from the same floor space. It is built from 304 stainless steel and sized from 0.5 to 1 tonnes per hour, which covers a small jam kitchen up to a full juice line.
How it works
Crushed or cooked fruit feed enters the drum, where a spinning scraper presses it against a perforated screen. Soft pulp and juice pass through the holes into the collection chamber, while skins, seeds, and pits stay on the screen and discharge from the slag outlet. In the double channel version the material can take a coarse screen first and a finer screen second, which gives a smoother final product without a second machine. Because the two channels are independent, you can change a screen or clear a jam on one side while the other keeps running.

Double vs single channel pulping machines processes
The pulping machine is driven by an electric motor through a belt, causing the scraper on the equipment to rotate at high speed. When the crushed fruit enters the machine through the feeding port, the material moves in a spiral trajectory between the scraper and the sieve, and is scraped by centrifugal force. The pulp and juice enter the next process through the mesh, while the skin and seeds are discharged from the slag outlet.
The DJ1 pulping machine is suitable for pulping and separating multiple fresh berry fruits and vegetables to remove residue. For example, tomatoes, kiwis, strawberries, apples, oranges, hawthorns, grapes, mulberries, peaches, apricots, and other fruits that have been pre cooked and softened are used to make fruit pulp, and the core, seeds, and skin are separated. It is a processing equipment for making fruit juice and jam.
The DJ2 pulping machine adds a second pulping process based on the DJ1 pulping machine, which can achieve fully automatic separation of pulp, core, and peel.

Core structure
A double channel pulper is built around two parallel drums. Each drum holds a spinning scraper and a perforated screen. Crushed or cooked fruit is fed in at the top, the scraper presses it against the screen, and the soft pulp and juice fall through the holes into a collection chamber below. Skins, seeds, and pits stay on the screen and slide out through the slag outlet. Under the drums sit the collection chamber and the discharge ports, and a motor on each side drives the scrapers. The whole contact area is 304 stainless steel with food grade rubber seals, and the chamber opens so you can wash it down between batches.

What it processes
Stone fruit such as mango, peach, apricot, plum, and cherry pulp and de-stone cleanly. Berries including strawberry, kiwi, and grape, and kernel fruit like apple and pear, also run well. Tomatoes are the classic use for sauce and ketchup base, and cooked carrot, celery, chili, and tomato make vegetable puree and soup base. If it presses soft and has a skin or seed to remove, the machine handles it.
Why 304 stainless steel
All food contact parts are 304 stainless steel, which resists fruit acid and cleans fast between runs. The seals are food grade rubber. For lines that run salty or acidic products and use strong cleaners, 316L is the upgrade, though most pulpers stay on 304. The steel for the body comes from the same group mill that supplies 304 stainless steel coil, so you can trace the grade back to the mill.

A pulper is one machine in a wider fruit and vegetable processing line. Fruit is washed in a bubble washer, crushed in a large crusher so the pulp releases, then pulped, then held in a stainless steel mixing tank before filling or cooking. The pulper sits in the middle, and its screen size sets the final texture.
