Introduction

Our fruit and vegetable slicer operates by pressing the produce down into the feed opening to slice it. The number and diameter of the feed openings can be customized, making it ideal for continuously slicing a variety of fruits and vegetables, including potatoes, lotus roots, apples, radishes, and cucumbers.

The entire machine is constructed from food-grade 304 stainless steel. The cutting mechanism is robust and durable, producing slices that are uniform in shape and thickness, with a yield rate as high as 99%, making it a complete replacement for manual slicing.

Working Principle

This machine operates using a downward-pressure feeding mechanism combined with a rotating blade disc:

Place long, cylindrical fruits and vegetables with straight roots into the feed opening. Under the influence of their own weight or downward pressure, the produce comes into stable contact with the high-speed rotating blade disc, which precisely slices the ingredients into uniform, thin slices.

Structural Components and Operating Instructions

Structural Components

  • Machine Body and Frame: Constructed entirely from thickened 304 stainless steel plates welded together, ensuring stability, durability, and corrosion resistance, and meeting food-grade hygiene standards.
  • Rotating Blade Assembly: Equipped with high-strength, specialized stainless steel blades that are sharp, wear-resistant, and provide stable cutting performance; this is the core component that ensures uniform slicing.
  • Feed and Discharge Openings: The feed opening is ergonomically designed for easy loading; The discharge port is spacious, allowing slices to exit smoothly and preventing blockages.
  • Safety Protection Devices: Includes a blade guard and emergency stop switch. The machine automatically shuts off when the guard is opened, ensuring operator safety.
  • Thickness Adjustment Mechanism: Precisely adjusts slice thickness via an M6 clamping nut; turning clockwise increases thickness, while turning counterclockwise decreases it, meeting various processing needs.

Operating Instructions

  • Pre-startup Check: Connect the equipment’s power cord to a suitable power source. Check the cord for damage or loose connections, and ensure the unit is placed on a stable surface.
  • No-Load Test: Press the start button and observe whether the cutting disc rotates clockwise. If the direction is reversed, disconnect the power, then swap the power plug or any two live wires in the connection.
  • Thickness Adjustment: To adjust the thickness, open the blade guard → loosen the clamping screw → remove the blade disc → adjust the two M6 clamping nuts at the front (tighten clockwise to increase slice thickness; loosen counterclockwise to decrease slice thickness). After adjustment, reinstall the blade disc, tighten it securely, and close the guard to begin slicing.
  • Normal Slicing: Feed the ingredients continuously and steadily; the machine will automatically slice them. The slices will come out neatly and can be collected immediately.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: After use, turn off the power. Clean up any debris or residue with a damp cloth. Wipe the blades dry and apply a thin layer of cooking oil to prevent rust, which will extend the blades’ service life.
