FAQ

Can a 304 stainless steel horizontal storage tank be used for long-term storage of diesel and gasoline?

Absolutely. 304 stainless steel exhibits excellent chemical stability with petroleum-based fuels such as gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, and will not react with these fuels.

Does the surface of this storage tank require anti-corrosion treatment?

Since this tank is made of 304 stainless steel, which inherently offers excellent corrosion resistance, no additional anti-corrosion treatment is generally required. However, if you plan to use it underground for an extended period, we recommend applying an epoxy coal tar or polyurethane anti-corrosion coating to the exterior.
