How to Choose the Right Vertical Oil Storage Tank for You

Consider the Type of Oil You’re Storing

For storing neutral media such as vegetable oil, regular gasoline, and diesel, 304 stainless steel is the preferred choice. It offers the best value for money and fully meets standard usage requirements.
For storing biodiesel, sulfur-containing oils, weakly acidic chemical media, or in coastal environments with high salt fog, choose 316L stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance.

Capacity Requirements

For household or small-scale experimental applications, choose capacities between 50–200 L;
For commercial catering or small factories, 500–2000 L is recommended;
Industrial-scale storage requires even larger capacities. Vertical storage tanks are particularly suitable for sites with limited land availability, but note that they are tall (reaching 10–30 meters).
