This Lebanese client owns a farm where they grow several hundred acres of thyme; they purchased plant oil extraction equipment to extract thyme essential oil.
Product Requirements
Use
The customer has explicitly requested that the equipment be used for the extraction of thyme essential oil. The equipment must be capable of efficiently collecting volatile oil components from plants, with a high standard of performance required for capturing the volatile aromas present in the plant material. Additionally, the customer has indicated plans to use the equipment in the future for the extraction of essential oils from other aromatic plants in the Lamiaceae family (such as rosemary, lavender); therefore, the equipment must possess a certain degree of process adaptability.
Production Capacity
The equipment must meet the demands of batch production, with a processing capacity equivalent to a 1,000-liter extraction tank, falling within the category of production-grade equipment. The client’s target daily raw material processing volume is approximately 800–1,000 kilograms (dry weight basis), with 1–2 batches run per day.
Voltage Requirements
The equipment must be compatible with a 380V industrial power supply to meet the electrical configuration standards of the essential oil production workshop.
Procurement Equipment Specifications & Parameters
- Extraction Tank System: The extraction tank has a capacity of 1,000 L, with a heating surface area of no less than 3.0 m², a condensation surface area of no less than 4 m², and a cooling surface area of no less than 1 m². The design pressure inside the tank is 0.09 MPa, and the design pressure of the jacket is 0.3 MPa.
- Supporting Systems: Distillation kettle, demister, condenser, cooler, hydrosol storage tank, oil-water separator, redistiller, and related piping and valves. Also equipped with cleaning balls, pressure gauges, temperature gauges, sight glasses, manholes, and other auxiliary components.
- Discharge System: To address the issue of residue discharge after plant material extraction, the equipment is equipped with a high-efficiency discharge device. It employs a top-feed, top-discharge method, ensuring simple and convenient operation and efficient residue removal.
- Electrical Control: The equipment is equipped with a digital display control system that allows for precise setting and real-time monitoring of key parameters such as temperature, pressure, and time. The user interface is simple and intuitive, ensuring easy operation and stable performance.
Delivery & Transaction Terms
- Delivery Schedule: Within 25 days from the date the contract is signed and the customer’s advance payment is received, we will complete the production, commissioning, and packaging of the equipment. We will strictly control the production cycle to ensure on-time delivery.
- Transaction Terms and Port: The transaction will be conducted under the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) trade term. A professional freight forwarder designated by us, with experience in Middle Eastern logistics, will be responsible for the entire logistics process, customs clearance, and payment of duties. The port of shipment is Guangzhou, and the goods will be delivered directly to the customer’s designated destination in Lebanon.
- Payment Terms: A settlement model of “30% advance payment + 70% prior to shipment” will be adopted. This arrangement ensures reasonable cash flow for our production while providing financial security for the Lebanese client, thereby reducing cooperation risks for both parties.
